27th January Page 158 :)

20th January Page 157. I hate it when pages come out looking all scruffy like this... I can't really work on it any more tonight though. I may, at the end of Ch5 (which isn't long now) spend a few updates going through the pages and improving them.

13th January Page 156 is up!

10th January ...And here's Page 155. Fortunately this is the last of this scene. I have to say I'm not terribly happy with it... Hopefully the next one will come out slightly better.

23rd December Page 153 is up. [insert previous disclaimer about potential dodgy colours here]. And I now have something of a buffer. I've also decided on a new way of colouring scenes, although it will require much more working ahead. I shall have to get organised for Chapter Six!

A note about Chapter 5: Yes, SN is in colour now. I was getting rather tired of the sepia style of the previous chapters - it was a lot of work, but rather limited in what I could do with it. I think the work that goes in to colour pages is worth it though, as you can show a lot more - mood and stuff. And I think my colouring is decent enough now to pull it off (when I first drew SN in colour, all those years ago, I was nowhere near good enough to make it worth it).

Chapter Five's a fairly short one, and it's really a side story, so if colour doesn't really work out, I may go back to sepia for Ch6.
